Exposed to many different medias of art at a very young age, Wendy's interest in art has only enhanced over the years. Educated in New Orleans at a strong liberal arts school, she carried the interest throughout her college years at the University of Alabama. Graduating with a double major in Art and Art History, Wendy taught art in the Mobile County School system. Through the years she has experimented in painting, line drawing, ceramics, graphic design, etching, lithographs, and enameling. After moving back to the Gulf Coast, she became inspired by the beach and began incorporating the look and feel of water in her oils, accentuated by the free form of the palette knife. The freedom felt in painting knows no boundaries.
